First, and perhaps most importantly, let's talk about my dog: I'm blessed to enjoy life with a silly and wonderful little Italian greyhound named Sammy! I work primarily to support his very lucrative lifestyle of daily salmon chews, cute sweaters, and comically oversized doggy beds.

I earned a Master of Science in Technical Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, so my background is quite tech-heavy. I interned as a software engineer, where I designed and developed user interfaces for ground control station software used by large commercial drones. ✈

I'm a Canadian-born American West Coaster who loves exploring the lesser-known corners of America's interior. Paradoxically, I also enjoy nothing more than staying cooped in my house with a warm blanket, a dog on my lap, and a great book or videogame. When I'm not hiking a trail or having a lie-in, you can typically find me expressing myself creatively—be that with writing, drawing, crocheting, coding, or something else I've decided to try!
